Edward sighed in relief and let her drag him in, after all he wasn't going to leave her alone, he looked around and then smelled into the air, then he smiled. "He hasn't been home since he left this morning, that means that he's not looking for you, he's just at work"
He looked around and then at Bella, more time for them, that was simply perfect!
"Well, why don't we watch a movie?, then if Charlie gets here, we'll be acting as responsible teenagers" he winked at her. |

Bella smiled and started the movies, kissing Edward when she got to the couch. "Is there such a thing as a responsable teenager?" Bella asked him cheekily, cuddeling up into his side as they watched the film, content to be in Edward's arms again, though she couldn't help but wonder where Charlie was, it wasn't normal for him not to come home after work, to not call and to be late.
Eventually the movie came to and end and Bella yawned, streching in Edward's arms, looking at the time, shocked to see it was midnight. "I better go to bed, I have school the the morning" she murmered, suprised Charlie still wasn't home. "Wait here, I need a human minute" she told him, rushing upstairs and getting into her pyjamas and letting out her hair, brushing it and her teeth and washed her face, ready for bed. She went down and smiled at Edward. "I'm ready now" she told him, going upstairs with him and climbing into bed, exausted. "Wake me when he gets home so I know he's alright" Bella murmered into Edward's chest before she heard something and creased her brow, only recognising a car pulling up and laughter, though she knew Edward would have a better idea. "What's that?" she whispered to him, still listening

Edward smiled at Bella and sat with her on the couch to watch the film, it was a nice one, he did see it, even when he was looking at Bella almost all the time it was weird how the vampire senses worked.
After the film, Bella went up to have her human moment, he texted home and told Alice that he was going to stay with Bella that night, that he would have to babysit Bree.
Then he went upstairs with Bella. "Ok, I'll tell you when he gets home" he winked at her. He kissed her lips tenderly and then just stood there steady listening.
He frowned and then looked at her what he was listening at, didn't think she would like it. "well... it's Charlie... and a... friend" he looked down at her. |

"Who?" Bella asked, shrugging, guessing that Charlie must have gone over to Billy's or someones after work, though she couldn't recall him talking about a game being on. "Is it Billy?" She asked, knowing that Edward would have to go if it was, and she didn't want Edward to go, she missed him when he was gone.
She cuddled up into Edward's sidee, trying to listen with her bad human ears, hearing the door downstairs open and two pairs of feet starting to walk upstairs..... in the direction of Charlies Bedroom.....
A shiver of unease ran down Bella's back. "It's not Billy, is it?" she whispered to Edward, figuring it out, moving away from Edward and covering her head with a pillow, not able to think of anything worse, she was in her room with her perfect vampire boyfriend and her dad had just arrived home with a lady friend and was about to do the nasty next door. "Save me!" she whispered to Edward, totally grossed out

Edward opened widely his eyes, he didn't thought thathe would ever see the time when Charlie dated someone, so well this day was... weird!!
He looked down at Bella and shook her head. "no... it's not Billy" he answered at her second question, he wanted to get the name of the woman, but Charlie wasn't even thinking on her name, he was just thinking on a silly nickname and then on... GROSSS!!!! her body He shook his head.
"it's a female friend... he knows her... for long time... and ... " he frowned, he didn't want to get his mind on theirs!! |

Bella bit her lip and got up silently and threw her pillow at Edward. "Keep your eyes covered, im getting changed" she whispered to him, getting out of her PJ's and into a pair of jeans and a T shirt, quickly pulling on her sneakers and shoving her pyjamas into a backpack and pulling it onto her back and going over to the window and opening it, knowing that staying here was not fair on Edward, she could read their thoughts.
"Come on, let's go" Bella told him, standing by the window "Let's hide at your place, then we can sneak back at 5am" she suggested, that should give them pleanty of time for Charlie and his friend to be done and for Bella to be back in her bed before Charlie wondered where she was.

Edward looked at her and frowned then closed his eyes, the way he was brought up made him impossible to see her while she was changing her clothes.
"Bella... wait... " he said but she was still changing her clothes. "What if Charlie comes and checks you when he finished with whatever he's doing in his room?" He knew very well what he was doing there, but he wasn't going to tell her. |

Bella bot her lip and dragged Edward out of bed at his suggestion, grabbing some cloths out of her cloest and laying them under the covers so it looked like she was sleeping. "I'm not stupid Edward, i know what he's doing and I don't think he's going to be worrying about me too much" she told him, shivering our of descust "Come on, if I'm back by five then he won't know the difference" she told him, taking his hands in hers and leaning up and kissed him lightly. "The alternitive is to stay here the night" she told him, scrunching her face up and having a shiver run down her spine when she started to hear panting and banging from next door.
"Do you really want to stay here all night? The walls of this house are very, very thin, SUPER thin and if you're not going to sneak out with me I'm just going to sneak out myself and you can stay here and listen to..... that" she offered him, going over to the window and starting to climb out, knowing that Edward would stop her, she was 2 stories up!

Edward sighed deeply, she was right he didn't want to stay... not with what he was happening there!!
Charlie: I only hope Bella won't wake up...
Woman: I thought that charlie would have never invite me in!
Edward frowned. and then rolled his eyes he got up in a second and wrapped his arms around her. "ok... ok... but 5am on the dot... we'll be back" |

"Thankyou" Bella thanked Edward, pecking her lips against his cheek, wanting to get far, far away from what was happening in the next room. She wrapped her arms tightly around Edward's neck, holding on tight as they moved towards his house and Bella closed her eyes and burried her face into Edward's neck, still feeling sick if she opened her eyes while he ran, feeling like she was going to hit a tree at any moment if she opened her eyes.
When they arrived at the front door of the Cullen house, Bella yawned, ready to go to bed, ready to sleep, so glad that she was now far away from the horrors of what was happening next to her bedroom.
"I still can't beleive Charlie did that, it's so gross" Bella murmered into Edward's shoulder, carefully getting herself down from Edward's arms, ready for bed as they walked up the huge staircase to Edward's room. "I'll be back in a minute, I need another human minute" she told him, leaning up and kissing Edward lightly as she quickly raced off to the bathroom and got changed and brushed her hair again.
She smiled at Edward as she came back into his room, half glad she had the reason to stay with him for the night, his bed was bigger then hers so they wouldn't be cramped for once. She snuggled into the covers, gesturing for Edward to join her. "Wake me at 4.30 so we can be back by 5?" Bella asked, feeling lucky that Edward didn't sleep, knowing that he would wake her on time and they wouldn't get in trouble.

Edward held her tightly to his body while they traveled at his super speed he didn't want her to fall or get hurt. After only 10 minutes, they got his place, he opened the door and walked up stairs, he would explain Carlisle later.
He looked at her and smiled. "ok, I'll be here" but he was thiking on what she said abut how Charlie did what he did. When she came back, he looked at her and smiled. "you know... what he did is just what you would like to do... right?" he just wanted her to understand her father a bit. he was a lonely man.
He got on bed, over the covers and held her tightly. "ok... at 4:30, have a good relaxing sleep, my Bella... my life." he said and sighed then looked to the ceiling, letting her sleep. but he didn't wake her up at that time, at 4:20, he held her on arms and just walked with her on arms back to her place.
He didn't want to wake her up, he sneaked into her room, and placed her on her bed, then he laid there next to her. |

Bella shivered when Edward asked her if she wanted to do what Charlie was doing. "No, I don't want to have a one night stand with someone who I haven't even introduced to my family with Charlie sleeping next door" Bella half snapped because she was tired "I don't even want to compair us to them, I mean, you've met Charlie and I've met your family and we've been together forever and you're my life and we're getting married and we are compleatly different to them" she told him, wanting him to see why it was compleatly different "Are you trying to say that you want to me to go off and have meaningless, casual sex with Mike Newton?" Bella asked, raising an eyebrow.
She settled in Edwards arms, her head resting against his chest, slowly drifting into a deep sleep. Before she knew it she was waking gentaly in Edwards arms. She groaned and fumbled around, looking for his wrist, looking at it and seein that it was 7 in the morning. She sat upright quickly, her head becomming dizzy. "You were ment to get me up at 4.30" she said before she looked around, realising that she was in her own room. "Oh" she said, laying back, confused. "Thanks" she thanked him, snuggeling up into his arms again, leaning up and pressing her lips to his.

Edward was awake, as always, but when she jumped, he just smiled, he loved to see her first hour in the morning, she was so beautiful, no matter what she said!
"I didn't want to wake you up... besides is Sunday, Charlie is still asleep and he's alone. he came around... 4:50 to check on you, then he left to his room and slept again."
He gave her a whole summary about what had happened, and all of that with a slight smile, he was still kind of hurt about what she said last night... about Mike Newton. |

"Thankyou" Bella thanked Edward, kissing him slowly and pasionatly, glad to have him there with her, not knowing what she would do without him before she stopped, something running through her brain. "He came and checked at 4.50? they werent.... you know... until then were they?" she asked, knowing if they were she was glad she had been no where around.
"Ugh" she sighed, "I don't know how I'm going to be able to look at him today, I don't think I'm going to be able to avoid him for the rest of my life either" she said, shaking her head. "That's so gross" she told Edward

Edward kissed her back, but still kind of distant, what was the worst of not sleeping was that allowed you to think and roam what would be bothering you. He shook his head. "would it help if I tell you that, when we got here, he was already alone and asleep?" |
