A Quick Swim [Open]

The salty smell of the sea filled Seth's nostrils as he ran through the forest. All he could see was greens and browns passing by and it always felt relaxing just running in the forest. He stopped when he was getting close to the edge of a forest and found the shorts he had placed here for mornings when he went for a swim. He changed back into his human form and quickly slipped into the shorts before starting to walk the rest of the way to the beach.

It took him only a couple of minutes to get out of the forest and feel the sand under his bare feet. It was a rare sunny day and the sand was hot and burning his skin. It didn't bother him, he loved these days. He walked up to the water and just stood with his feet submerged. He stood there for a few minutes thinking. So much had been happening lately and even though he seemed so happy, his thoughts most of the time seemed so happy, he was having more and more trouble staying so happy and calm. Sometimes he wished he could go back to when he knew nothing about the vampires, the wolves and this world.

With the three vampires terroring everyone, the new born vampire army, Bree-one of the new borns-moving in with the Cullens and Bella and Edward getting married; there was way too much happening in these two small towns. He wished there would just be a few weeks of peace but knew that was never going to happen.

He walked further into the water and started to swim as the water got deep. The water was warm, a rare thing on this beach and a really nice thing. Swimming and running were things that helped him just forgot about everything that was bothering him. He poped his head up above the water as he heard someone shouting and saw a girl back on the beach. He couldn't work out who it was because of how far out he was but he was pretty sure it was someone he knew. He started to swim back towards the beach to check if the girl was ok.

Bella smiled as she pulled over in her truck, getting out when she saw Seth swimming, calling out and waving to him from the shore, smiling at him as he came in to come and see her, her arms wrapped around her to keep herself warm against the cold, harsh wind that was wipping against her skin. "Hey seth!" she smiled at him when he was in hearing range, smiling at him. "Even though I know youre not cold, you look so cold!" she called out to him, laughing "You're making me cold just looking at you" Bella laughed, leaning against her truck to talk to him.

"So, what have you been up to?" she asked, smiling at him "Are you comming to the wedding?" she asked, really wanting Seth there, he got on with Edward well, Bella would even dare to say that they were friends which made her happy, that the whole wolves and vampires not being able to be friends was crap.

"Did you hear that the Cullens have a new family member? Bree, one of the newborns, is now living with them" Bella explained rolling her eyes "The reason why Edward won't let me near his house" she laughed

As Seth got closer to the beach he recognised the girl. It was Bella. He smiled at her but wondered what she was doing here. Seth thought that she would be with Alice planning something for the wedding or with Edward. He waved at her as he steped out of the water, shaking his head like a dog. He laughed and noticed that she looked cold. It was a warm day though and she should be used to the weather here by now. When she said that he looked cold he was a little confused but he just laughed. "Sorry, you should go swimming, the water is warming than usual." Seth looked a Bella's old truck wondering how much longer it would live and how long until Bella would have to buy a new one.

"I've just been swimming, and of course I'm comming to the wedding, no vampires can stop me from being there on my friends big day!" He laughed and knew that he wasn't suppose to be friends with Edward. The whole reason he was a wolf was to kill vampires. He would never hurt any of the Cullen's though, they were cool.

"Yeah, I heard, have you even been aloud to talk to her?" He asked, he doubted it though and he hoped that she wasn't allowed anywhere near Bree. Seth didn't want his friend getting hurt, he especially didn't want her getting killed by a out of control new born vampire.

Bella smiled as she talked to Seth, she liked talking to him, it felt... normal. She smiled when he said that he would come to the wedding, that nothing was going to keep him away, she wanted him there. "Do you think.... he'll come?" Bella asked, forcing herself to ask, wanting her best friend Jacob Black to come even though she knew that he didn't like it, that it hurt him that she was marrying Edward.

Bella shook her head when Seth asked if she was even aloud to talk to Bree. "Atleast that's what Edward says" she clarified, knowing that Seth wouldn't tell Edward that she had been talking to Bree behind his back. I decided that we should talk through text because its so hard for her to be around me, ill text her and shell text back, I make sure that I empty my inbox alot so then Edward doesn't know, he doesn't really like Bree" Bella admitted "I do though, shes nice"

Seth knew exactly who "he" was. Jacob Black. The wolf that had run away. Seth doubted that Jake would turn up to the wedding, he knew it would kill the guy and Seth would hate to see his good friend in so much pain. He did hope that Jake would come back to La Push though, he really missed him and was worried that he was going to badly hurt himself. "Maybe, I guess we can keep hoping, I just want him to come home."

Seth didn't like the idea of Bella even talking to the new born vampire but he wouldn't get worked up about it if she wasn't going anywhere near Bree. "Just don't go anywhere near her, I don't want you getting hurt." He smiled and hoped Bella would listen to him but he'd learnt that Bella was very stubborn and didn't listen to others much. "So, Alice torturing you with wedding plans yet?" He laughed.
