Teegan's mother had been so desperate to take her family out of the bad luck that Amy would be bring, that she had taken her down to a near by lake in the upper-class state they lived in. However, Teegan's senses had kicked in, and for the first time since she had been taken out of hospital, she cried.

Being only human, her mother couldn’t do it. However, she could do much worse.

She abused her own child then turned into a murderer. She was now more of a monster than what her child was.

Considering they didn’t trust Teegan to stay in a house all alone, they had taken her with them, when ever they went to kill some body. Her father and mother were seriel killers together, and had been since that night that Teegan had been cursed.

When Teegan had turned five, she had went to school with a busted lip, badly bruised eye, and broken wrist so she couldn’t write, and that was when her brother had over heard one of the teachers asking Amy what had happened, and how she had gotten those bruises. Her brother had finally told the teacher, and that was when her parents had found out. Sure enough, they had killed him in cold blood the moment he had gotten home, then picked up and left.

Teegan had witnessed the whole thing.

Finally, Teegan’s parents were caught and put behind bars.

She’s in Foster Care, with honor marks & a blackbelt in karate. Everything had been going well, until her foster father had been bitten and attacked her, turning her to. She hadnt known she had been pregnant.

Her power is that she can mimic others abilities. Human and vampire.

Now, it had been ten years since then and she been by herself, hunting murderers like her parents. She thought of it as saving lives by taking lives, hence the word 'dexter' vampire
