Bella smiled at her family as she took another drink from her bottle of blood, feeling so much stronger since Alice had figured it out, and it made the world of differance.
"I'm just going to the bathroom" Bella announced, knowing that there was going to be an outcry when she stood up. She got up, though before she knew it, she was back on the floor. Baby had kicked her, kicked her like he never had before, harder than anything she had ever felt before. She screamed out in pain before she realised....
"My legs!" she cried out "I can't feel my legs!" she said, trying to move her legs though she couldnt, and she could feel thrashing inside her and her eyes went wide. "Quick! you've got to get him out! now! he can't breathe!" Bella cried out, tears falling down her face, worried about her baby "Quick! get him OUT! I don't care about morphine! I don't care! Get him out!!!"

Since Bella had started drinking blood to help her baby, Bree had been hesitant to be around her at all. Human blood still smelt too good to her and her thirst always came back, so she spent her days in the forest. She cared for Bella, and staying away from her human friend was the safest thing to do. She didn’t want to snap and lose it; she would be responsible for the death of two lives if she did. But Bree missed everyone at the Cullen house, particularly Bella, so she had hunted more than necessary to be able to visit without killing anyone.
Bree now sat in the living room, very conscious of the bottle of blood in Bella’s hands. It made her a little thirsty, but because of her huge hunt, she was able to control herself. Bella looked better than the last time Bree had seen her. At least she had some colour to her now rather than the pale, ghostly white of a dead person. Her belly was impossible huge, somehow bigger than any other pregnant person she’d seen. She must be in a lot of pain, Bree thought sympathetically, reminded of the fiery hell she’d endured to become a vampire.
Bree watched in alarm as Bella tried to stand up, and asked softly, ”Do you want help?” She didn’t ask for an answer though, and followed her weak human friend in case she needed some support. Suddenly Bree heard a loud crack, and saw Bella starting to fall backwards. Bree ran behind her quickly and ensured that Bella didn’t fall down hard; instead she was placed softly on the ground so nothing more could break...
Not even half a second had passed, and Bella’s screaming made Bree swallow loudly. She heard the half vampire baby tearing its way through Bella’s flesh, it was a disgusting sound. Bella wanted the baby out now, someone else would have to do that! She couldn’t do it, not when she’d only been away from human blood for a few months. The look on Bella’s face was distorted with pain, and she could tell that something would need to be done quickly or neither the human nor the half vampire child would make it. But Bree couldn’t remove the baby; this was all she could do for poor Bella.
Bella needed Edward or Alice, frankly any member of the Cullens would be better than Bree. She gripped her forehead, her nails having no purchase against her hard skin. What the hell could she do? She shouldn’t just run off and leave Bella to be cared for by someone else. She couldn’t do it.
”I- I’m sorry.” she said to the rest of the Cullens before she ran outside, but she didn’t continue to the forest like she probably should. She stayed in the backyard, and could still hear Bella’s screaming. She wanted to go up and help somehow, but it was safer if she was away from the scene.

The weeks had passed and Edward was now more like a skelleton than a man, he hadn't left Bella's side, not even a slight moment! He could hear the thoughts of the baby now, she was such a beautiful creature, and she loved Bella so much!! He understood then that it wasn't a monster, was a baby a beautiful piece of life growing inside Bella.
The day their baby came to this world, he would remember it forever, he wasn't by her side... he went to the room for a blancket, it was getting cooler, and he didn't want Bella to have cold, even when Jacob came from time to time into the house, he rather she use a blancket than a friend as a cover.
That was when he heard Bella's scream, she was in pain!! it couldn't be Bree!! she had proved herself!! and Faith, she wasn't fond for human blood!! so what was it?! in a second he was downstairs, looking at Bella.
"What happened?"
He asked but then he noticed Bella's legs were as the ones of a cloth doll, he frowned and then lifted her in arms. "ok, calm down Bella... I'm doing it!"
He walked into Carlisle's office, that now was more like a small operating room. he placed Bella on the metalic table and grabbed the morfine. "the pain will kill you Bella!! I need to shot you some morphine!" |

"I'm not waiting for it to take effect" Bella told Edward, really, really worried about her baby "JUST GET HER OUT!!! SHE CAN'T BREATHE!" she yelled at him, trying to outline how important it was that the baby was out of her, not wanting her little girl to suffercate "Edward just do it! Please! I promise not to die!" she told him, begging him to save their child.
She concerntrated on her breathing, knowing that she was going to do whatever she had to do to keep her little girl safe. "Edward, get her out now! Get her out and then change me and we will both be fine, you have to do it now" she told him
"Please" Bella begged "It's the only way to save us both, get her out and change me, you have to do it now" she told him "Please Edward, she can't breathe and I can't feel my legs"

Faith wasn't at home, for the first time in weeks, she went out, she needed some blood, because the precence of her vampire family was driving her crazy, she didn't want to hurt them, so she told Bella she was going to hunt and she didn't got scared of leaving her with Edward because he was now on her side, he now loved the baby as much as Bella did.

Edward looked at Bella and shook he head, he was scared of killing her, what if he wasn't fast enough? what if her weak body didn't get it?! but then he saw her face and knew that the only way would be doing it, doing it as she said.
"ok... I'll do it, but breath and keep breathing, don't you dare to die on me!"
he said and looked at the belly, it was moving a lot, the baby was in deed not breathing. but if he didn't work soon, the movements of the baby wouldn't just crack Bella's spinal cord, but also smashed her lungs or even her heart and if that happen, nothing could be done after that for Bella.
He ripped her clothes, in other circumpstances that would have been erotic moment! looking at her naked body, but in that moment, it was a desperated moment! he saw her belly moving a lot, he could even listen more of her bones cracking under the baby's movements! He leaned down using a scalpell, he opened her belly and using his teeth, he opened the bag where the baby was. but he didn't knew if it was still time! Bella's heart has been so week for days!!

"I promise" Bella told Edward when he told her that she had to promise not to die on him. "I love you" she whispered and gritted her teeth, knowing that this was going to hurt and that it was going to kill Edward to see her in pain.
She concerntrated on her breathing, her fingers digging into the table as she felt Edward open her up, forcing herself to breathe, in and out, in and out. The pain of Edward opening her up was emense, her stomach being exposed to the world. Bella watched as Edward's head lowered to break the casing of Vampire skin and she worried about her baby.
"Edward.... is she ok?" Bella asked, forcing herself to breathe, needing to know that her baby was alright

Edward heard her heart beats, they were really fighting to keep working to keep her alive! then he looked down and saw all the blood pouring around, Bella was bleeding to death and there was no one to help her! no one but him! but then he looked into the whole that once had been her belly and there, he found their baby, their beautiful baby.
He pulled her out and smiled at her, she was a perfect combination between Bela and Edward, all what they could have imagine she was going to be! "She's perfect Bella" he said and put the baby closer to her bleeding body, he didn't placed her exactly over her chest because her heart was already failing because of stress. |

Faith was coming back from her hunting, and she heard Bella's screams, she ran into the house and saw the blood on the living room's floor and then a trail that went into the small operating room. She ran into the just to see a mass of blood that was Bella's body, Edward by her side and he was holding something... the baby!
She heard Bella's heart and ran to their side. "Edward give me the baby... you have to hurry up!!" |

Bella's eyes went wide when she saw her baby, in awe of the prefection that she and Edward had created. "Renesmee" she whispered, her hand going up and touching her cheek, wanting to hold her, cuddle her, but then in came Faith and asked for the baby, and she knew she couldn't, she had to wait.
"Change me Edward" Bella told him, saying goodbye to her little child, trusing Faith with her, knowing that she would see her in a few days after she was turned, though she was sad she wouldn't see her first few days, that she wouldn't be there, but she knew this was the only way to be there for the rest of forever. "I'm ready now, I love you"

Faith held the baby in her cold stony arms, this baby was as her borther said, she was perfect! and the name, well she could imagine the meaning, but she didn't say a word, she just walked to the door. "I'm going to clen her up so she can meet her mommy later" she said in a sweet tender voice and then looked at bella... human bella for the last time. "You have to make it... ok... human?" she breathed deeply and then walked out with the baby in arms. |

Edward looked at Faith and nodded knowing that his sister would never hurt the baby, then she looked back at Bella and kissed softly her still human lips, "I love you too" he whispered as he was kissing her lips, but in that moment her already weak heart failed, giving its last pump at the rythm of his words.
"BELLA!!... come on!!... Bella!" Edward said the moment he heard her heart failing, he inmediately began with the CPR, blowing some air into her already broken lungs and then he got his hand into her body until he grabbed her heart, and began to squeez it to bid it to beat again.
Then he moved at super speed and grabbed a needle, it had a silvered liguid inside, it was his venom. "Bella... come on!..." he talked to her again, then he gave her the shot with his venom, right into her almost dead heart, then again the cpr, but this time only the heart compressions, he needed the venom to get to all her body.
then he used only his right hand to press it and he leaned down to lick all her wounds, so she could heal faster, "Bella!! Come on!!you sworn it to me!" he hit her chest with human strength. "come back to me..." he whispered in her ear and kissed her dead lips... then as if his words had brought her back from the Hades... her heart quiblered... the venom was working on her. |
