Jessie took one look at the guy in front of her, then back down at the bottle spinning around. The all around 'creepiness' of the abandoned warehouse they had found a few years back hadnt helped with the fact that the guy who would decide her fate. Well, not exactly her fate, but if she got caught there was a possibility that things would change around there. And she didnt want that. She liked things the way they were.
Holding her breath, Jessie finally had the guts to look down at the coke a cola bottle still spinning on the ground in front of her. It continued to spin. However, it was slowing down considerably. She winced, realizing that in a few seconds it would pass her. Hopefully.
Things moved ever so slowly, as if the world had just chosen to torture Jessie.
Finally, it slowed down so much, that Jessie thought it would stop just before her. It did. At least, until the person next to her blew it slightly, forcing it to move just an inch. Though it was a small movement, it most certainly wasnt a welcomed one.
DAMN IT!
While the person next to Jessie looked pleased, Jessie looked like she was ready to turn around and strangle her. And knowing Jessie, it was possible. She wasn’t exactly one to stay calm.
Ever.
“Truth or dare?”
This was one question that had changed her life.
“Dare”
~
Now Jessie stood outside of the warehouse with a skate board under her arm. She wasn’t weak, like she looked. And although she could get out of this with one punch directed towards the guy considering she had a black belt in karate already, the one line the teenager had said made her determined to do this.
As stupid as it was.
”I betcha she wont do it! She’s a chick. What else can you expect?"
Yes, Jessie had always been against sexism.
The bag hanging off of her shoulder weighed more than it should have considering all it had was a PSP she had stolen, a fake ID, a beer can & three spray paint bottles.
It was like the guilt of the objects in her bag were holding her down. It made more sense that a bowling ball & an elephant weighing a tonne had some how replaced the real objects in her bag.
Taking one look back at the boys leaning against the wall, Jessie finally turned forwards and placed the skateboard back onto the ground.
With one foot on the skateboard, and the other on the ground, she started her off into the Texas traffic.. She wasn’t a chicken. She wasn’t one to chicken out. Never had been and never will be...hopefully.
The sad part was that this wouldn’t be the most stupidest thing she had done.
Finally the dreaded police station came into the sights of her beautiful and clear dark brown eyes. They were her main tools in getting out of trouble. However, that was with her foster home & at school. This was the police station. Beautiful puppy dog eyes would no longer help.
Finally getting off of the skate board, she placed it behind a bush and then headed towards the window of the chiefs office.
This is BEYOND childish!.
Still,t hat thought didn’t stop her.
With her spray paint at the ready, she ‘painted’ a pig with her fluro pink spray paint. She was glad that the chief inside was facing away from the window with donuts in front of him, watching some ‘Days of our Lives’ episode. Or maybe it was the Bold and the Beautiful. Nah. She quickly heard a baseball score, something she would much rather be watching than going against the law like she was now.
Finally, she finished with the pink spray paint, and continued her assault on the window, being very careful NOT to get caught. That was the last thing she needed.
She picked up her purple spray paint and wrote next to the pig, “PIGS! Oink, oink!”
Finally, her work there was done.
She risked one more look to see that the police inside was still non-the-wiser to what the whole town would soon pick up on. It was a small town, so surely some one wouldn’t have enough of a life so they would try to point out something wrong with the town, just like Amelia usually did.
However, sadly it didn’t stay like that.
With Jessie’s luck it was a wonder how she had even gotten this far. Falling back on her arse and onto a bush of roses & thorns, she swore.
“SHIT!” ~~
Half an hour later, she was back in the place she new all too well. The jail cell.
Jessie believed this gave her a reason to swear.
“Oh, fuck”

Seth laughed as he put his mobile in his pocket, he didn't really like carrying it around just in case he had to change quickly but then he liked to be able to talk to people. He was a very social person. He walked down the street in Forks, he wasn't exactly sure where he was going, he guessed to find someone he could talk to. He walked toward the police station and wondered if Charlie would be there now He smiled as he walked in and saw him. "Hey Charlie!" he greeted and then he saw the girl in the jail cell.
She was so beautiful, the most beautiful girl he'd ever seen even with the tomboyish look she still was so pretty. Her brown curly hair and pretty dark brown eyes just fit perfectly with her soft looking skin. From that first look he felt gravity itself changing, it was like the gravity that was holding him to the Earth was now holding him to her, pulling him closer to her, telling him that she was everything. He walked toward the jail cell with a happy but intense look on his face. "Hey, I'm Seth!" he said to the girl, feeling so confident about talking to her, feeling like he could be completely himself even though she was now so important to him.

Jessie stood in the jail cell, just looking at the police ‘guy’ in front of her on the other side of the bars. She looked at them, able to see that they were incredibly thin, but so was she. In fact, if she pulled her stomach in and held it there, she looked like she could just move in between them, which honestly sounded like a good idea to her. And she would have done that, if it wasn’t for the security guard just looking through her bag. Hopefully, he hadn’t went through her purse. She didn’t want him to see a few fake IDs she was willing to give out...for a price. That wouldn’t do too good. She had no idea if he had seen them or not, considering she had been looking at the bars, and swearing inside the cell that she had heard about before.
“Hey! You cant hold me! Im under age. You need to let me go right at this minute, or else I can sue you” she insisted, not sure whether she could do that or not. Sure, she was taking legal studies, but so far they were talking about jail sentences, and how many levels of power there were when it came ot the law. Nothing she needed to know. She was only taking the class to get out of this kind of trouble.
However, she fell silent again as the thought of her fake idea they would have gotten from her. That, and the guy who just walked in. An incredibly good looking guy to say the least. Still,s he wasnt going to grin. After all, she was behind jail cells and by the way he had greeted the Cheif of Poliice, he wouldn't be interested in some one behind bars. At all.
However, she was pleasantly surprised as he walked over to her and she couldn't help but smirk slightly. She truly wasnt like other women. "Hi...Im Jessie. Jessie Turner" It was no surprise she didnt say her middle name. She hated such a girly name.

Her name was so perfect, Jessie Turner, he had never hearda name that fit a person so well before. He did quickly look behind him to make sure Charlie wasn't paying attention to him but it seemed like the police chief was too interested in his work and he hadn't even noticed that Seth had came in or greeted him. Seth hadn't really tought of Charlie as the type of person to get really caught up in his work but then Seth didn't know him too well, they were friends but they didn't see each other too often. He brought his attention back to the girl in the jail cell, the one that was now his main concern, the one he suddenly cared about the most.
He began to wonder what such a beautiful, special girl had done too get into this jail cell, she couldn't be a trouble maker, could she? She did have a tomboyish look which could mean she didn't always follow the rules but he couldn't believe it. "How'd you end up in this jail cell?" he asked, chuckling softly. He then wondered if she already had a boyfriend, that thought hurt him but she was so perfect so of course other guys would like her. He badly hoped that she was single becuase he wanted to be her boyfriend, he wanted to be hers.

Jessie hadnt told him her middle name for a reason. Finally, another police officer spoke up. "Too bad she's supposed to be nineteen and her name is Kelly O'brian..." at this, Jessie couldn't help herself from glaring at him. She bit her lip before she finally spoke again.
Jessie then heard what Seth had said and sighed. She knew that she didnt have to tell him, but for some reason, she felt like she had to, which didnt happen very often. She didnt even eat if dinner was put in front of her by her foster parents (which didnt happen very often seeing they seemed to like the thought of their own personal slave), let alone tell anyone what she was doing in a prison cell.
"Well, I ended up in the jail cell because I took a stupid dare, and apperantly people cant put their art up on walls anymore. Which I believe is stupid" she said,a nd rolled her eyes. With a look from the police officer who had caught her, she sighed and gave in. "And a fake ID is just adding to it"
"Thats right...and we'll be calling your foster parents too." he said.
Jessie's heart rate increased as that new piece of infomation sunk in. The cocky expression was now gone as she thought of the beating she would get. Instead of shaking in anger, she started to shake in almost fear. "No, no. Please dont. I would rather stay here for the entire WEEK than have my foster father come and pick me up. I beg of you" she said. She looked over to Seth, as if asking for help.
Her body was just starting to heal from the bruises she covered up with so much clothing. She didnt need fresh bruises ontop of the ones she already had. "Please, please dont...Please"

Seth sighed as one off the oither police officers spoke, it sounded like Jessie had a fake ID. For some reason it didn't bother him as much as it should have, he still really liked her and thought she was perfect though he would, if he got the chance, talk to her about it and work out why she had it. He didn't think she'd have it for a bad reason... he did want to amke sure of that and help her. He cared about her so of course he'd want to help her. He looked back at Charlie and the other police officer and for some reason he found himself nearly glaring at both the men. He knew that they were just doing their job but he still felt angry and disappointed in them for some reason. He was beginning to hate his emotions today, they just seemed to be getting weirder and weirder.
"Well, I ended up in the jail cell because I took a stupid dare, and apperantly people cant put their art up on walls anymore. Which I believe is stupid" Jessie said and Seth wondered what the dare had been exactly. He'd worked out that it must of been spray painting something onto the wall but he wondered what that had been. Maybe he shouldn't want to know, some teenagers had minds that Seth was happy not to get into. "I never liked truth or dare..." he said, just before she said the fake ID was adding to it.
Charlie said that they'd call her foster parents. That sounded like a normal thing to him except for the 'foster' part. What had happened to her real parents? Had they died, given her up? How long had she been with a foster family? The question floated around in his head, joining all the other questions that he had formed in the past couple of minutes. They were giving him a head ache but he could survive, he'd gone through way worse thing then a head ache from a head full of questions.
Seth saw as Jessiestarted to shake, he thought it was from anger but then he saw her face, she looked scared. She began to beg for them not to call her parents. Saying that she'd rather spend a week in the jail cell. That was extreme, so she must have a good reason to say that. Maybe the relationship between her and her foster parents wasn't good, maybe they weren't nice people. She looked over at him and her eyes were filled with pain and fear. He had to do something to help her, he had to. "Charlie, what if I like hang out with her and teach her the right thing to do and make sure she doesn't do anything bad again? I'd be happy to do it and then you wouldn't have to ring her foster parents. What do you think?" he told the police chief his idea and prayed that he'd agree to it.

Jessie felt like she was about to colapse onto the stone, hard floor, she felt like her legs were about to give way, and she felt like her heart had just stopped. She felt like some one had taken any ounce of courage and ripped it out of her. However, she was alot more braver than people thought. That was certain. She did alot of stupid things because she was an adrenaline junkies. And adrenaline junkies were NEVER people who feared danger. However, she didnt want to feel her parents wrath. Not at all. She would rather stay on the cell floor, huddling her knees to her chest on the stone cold floor, using her arm as a pillow, and with out a blanket. She didnt want to go back 'home' if you could even call it that!
However, Jessie's prayers were so close to being answered as Seth volunteered himself to make sure she didnt do anything stupid. However, she just hoped the fifteen year old wouldn't expect anything back from her, like sex. She cherished that. Although she was a 'guy' in all other aspects, she always treasured it, She always kept her promises, and she had promised her mother when she had been eight, that she would wait, her family being religious. Although she wasnt anymore, she knew that she would wait. She wanted to wait until she was married...or, if that didnt happen, at least until she was in love.
However, the police officer nodded his head and sighed. "Fine...but anymore trouble, and she's doing community service. And it'll be things like cleaning the toilets" he promised. At this, she nodded her head at a furious pace, and let out a pent up breath. She didnt WANT to seem ungrateful for once. She walked out, grabbing everything, then sighing as they kept the fake ID. However, she was too grateful that she was more than happy for them to keep it. "Come on, lets get out of here" she said, taking his hand before she realized the heat and dropped it.

Seth waited worryingly for Charlie's answer, he was hoped that he was trusted, and praying that he was trusted enough for this. He really didn't want to see Jessie this scared any longer, it was literally killing him inside. She sighed in relief as Charlie agreed to it, he said that she would be doing community service if she caused anymore trouble so Seth was going to make sure she didn't. He was really going to keep an eye on her and help her, he'd been telling the truth when he'd said that. He watched as she was let out of the jail cell and she got all her stuff back, excepet for her fake ID and she didn't complain about that.
"Come on, lets get out of here" she said and took Seth's hand. That made him almost blush at first but then as she let go he frowned. His body heat was burning because of him being a shape-shifter, he hoped that Jessie wouldn't think of him as weird because of that. He sighed and shook his head slightly. As they got a fair way away from the police station he saw a bench and stopped. "How about we sit down and talk?" he asked, not wanting to do anything she didn't. He did want to know all about her, about her personality, her past, her foster parents, her school, where exactly she lived; he wanted to know every detail about her and her life.

At this, Jessie smirked, her eyes turning back to the cheeky expression she always held. She truly was trouble, but at the same time she believed it was innocent trouble. Her moto was, 'its just trouble, not unforgivable. She was a kind hearted person, she just got bored easily if she wasnt doing something stupid.
She walked away with him, grinning as she did so. It was a beautiful grin, her perfectly white teeth showing. She was a different person now. Happier. However, it was all an act. She knew she was a mess, but it was just the way she was. And sadly, always would be. At least, that was what she believed.
"Hey, thanks for getting me out of there" she said. "Just, dont expect any...favours" she said. "I was in there for vandalism...not prostitution" she said. However, she felt like quite the idiot and blushed a deep red like he had just before, not that she had noticed. She nodded and then sat down on the bench, sitting down in a very unladylike fashion. Like she liked to brag, she was more of a guy than the actual guys were. She played baseball, basketball, soccer, rugby, football, long jump...it was all because of dancing. They had made her body incredibly strong, and she could jump higher since she started dancing before she had. However, she had been three when she had started, so she didnt exactly give herself much time with out it.
"Right, sorry...you dont have many guys who just want to sit and talk after saving a girl like me from the jail cell" she admitted, then shrugged. "Anyway...what was your name again?"
Yet again, the cheeky grin was back onto her face. However, it wasnt nearly as noticable as her grin that said 'Im gonna do something stupid!'. She had no idea that he would see it on more than one occasion.

Seth looked at Jessie with a look of slight shock, he hadn't been thinking anything like that, he wasn't that type of person. "Do I really look like that type of guy?" he asked her and shook his head. Maybe she'd had a bad experience with guys before, he hoped she hadn't, he didn't want her to hate him because of what some other guys had done to her. He sat down next to her on the bench but kept his distance, he didn't want to scare her and he didn't want her feeling his body temperature again. He smiled as she asked what his name was again.
"Seth Clearwater," he answered. He saw that she was grining, he began to wonder if it was because she was happy or planning something. He laughed mentally at himself, what would she be planning? A way to get herself back in a jail cell? He began to form more questions in his head and he sighed, he knew he needed to ask her one question at least but he didn't want to ask the wrong thing. He did want to clear his head a little though. "Do you live here in Forks?" he asked her.

At that, she sighed and shook her head. "No, you dont look like that kind of guy...I guess. You just, never know. Apperently I look like the kind to be sweet & innocent. I doubt thats ever going to happen." she said and rolled her eyes, get comfortable like she always did after taken out of a jail cell. "That is until they say the tattoo" she said and shrugged, acting like it was nothing, that it wasnt illegal. However, the foster family who had allowed her to have the tattoo, had been the nicest people she had ever met. However, once the foster system had found out about the tattoo, she was taken away from them. They were the only family that didnt hit her.
She looked up at him and smiled as he told her his name again. However, she frowned for a moment before placing the smirk back onto her face. "No, I dont live here in Forks. I live on the reservation, at least...for now I do" she said, then shrugged. "Kind of an outsider, Ill be moved again and Washington DC will be safe again" she insisted, then rolled her eyes.
"Okay, now my turn...You ask me one question, I ask you one question" she said, before she spoke again.
"Why did you break me out if it wasnt to...you know" she said, her eyes flickering down to his legs, before back up to him again.
