Shock filled Bella's system as the pain, the buring, firey pain started to null, to retreat. 'Am I really dying now?' she thought to herself and then she remembered 'No, I'm only just beginning to live'.
She turned her head to the side when all the burning had left her body, listening to everything around her, the birds outside, the cars all the way out at the highway, the rustleing of the trees.... and the breathing of a man next to her.
She opened her eyes and looked into the mans golden ones, her unnessisary breath being taken away from her. She recognised the face, it was the face of Edward Cullen, her husband and soul mate, but she had never seen him this well before, it was like her human vision had been a crackeling, fuzzy TV picture compaired to this new, high deifinition view.
"Edward?" she asked, smiling, sitting up and moving towards him, her hand resting on his cheek as she took him in, programed every bit of his face into her memory. "You're so beautiful" she told him before she leaned in and kissed him, kissed him harder and stronger than she had ever kissed him in her human life. "You've been holding out on me Cullen" Bella teased him, keeping her forehead to his as she smiled at him.

three days passed and Edward never left the side of his beloved BElla, he loved her more than ever, she had given everything for their love!! their beautiful baby, that will be kept far from her until they knew that she was able to be near her.
then he noticed her eyes opening, he smiled and looked at her, she had always been beautiful but now... she was really perfect! "good morning" he said as she looked at him, when she mentioned that he was perfect he shook his head. "you should see yourself in a mirror" he winked at her, he knew that Alice would bring the mirror anyways!
Then after the kiss, he smiled widely. "I just couldn't let you go" he kissed her back, knowing now that he could squeez her really hard, she was a newborn, she was the one who could kill him! |

Bella smiled and shook her head, her hands still holding Edward’s face as she looked into his eyes, looking at every shade, tone and colour in his eyes. “You’re…. perfect” she told him “I can see everything, ever shade of colour in your eyes” she said and kissed him again, so happy to be in her new life.
“Where’s Renesmee?” she asked, her new vampire memory allowing her to think of many different things at once, Edward, how much she loved Edward, Renesmee, where Renesmee was, who she was with, the list went on and on and on.
“Can I see her?”

Edward smiled and then rubbed her cheeks with his cold fingers that now were the perfect temperature, he kissed her again. "well, now you know why I always knew you were... perfect? I could see all what you couldn't" he kissed her lips again, then he looked at her.
"bella" he said when she asked for Renesmee, "it's not safe yet, we shuld go and hunt first, then maybe you could be able to see her" he breathed deeply even he didn't need the iar that got into his body. |

"Oh, yeah" Bella agreed when Edward reminded her about hunting, only feeling the burn now that she was thinking about it, because Edward had reminded her about it. "Come on then" Bella told him, taking the heals that Alice no doubt had put on her feet and ripped along the seem of the long silk blue dress, knowing that she wouldn't be able to move in it.
"Why did you let Alice dress me in this?" Bella demanded, moving in on Edward's lips once more when she was ready to go. "Ready?" she asked, taking his hand and jumping out the window, knowing that Alice was going to be after her any second for ripping the dress, following Edward's lead and letting her senses take over, following him out into the woods.
She turned around and growled when she heard someone behind her, immidetly snapping out of it when she realised that it was Edward. "Oh my god, Edward I'm so sorry, I just growled at you" she apologized, going over and kissing him, sorry for having growled at him.
In no time at all she was back to hunting, smelling a deer close by. She was about to attack when the breeze changed and the sent of a stray hiker crossed her nostrils. She realised what was going on and snapped out of it, turning around and running from the hiker, stopping and waiting for Edward when she was far enough away to not smell him anymore, not wanting to accidently do something stupid

Edward smiled at her. "well... you know that pixie" he winked at bella and then walked with her to the window, then they jumped and run, when she growled at him, he smiled tenderly. "it's ok... all of us had done it once, Faith even attacked me when she woke up for the first time to this life."
then they ran again, when he smelled the hker he already had that in his mind... bella covered in his blood! but nothing happened, she just stopped and ranto other side. "Bella!" he ran after ther. when she stopped, he did it too.

Bella nodded when Edward asked her if she was ok, her hand gripping his arm, just because she liked the contact. "Yeah, I'm fine" she told him "I just came over here incase, I didn't want to hurt him" she told him and pointed towards the other half of the forest "Come on, let's go hunting this way" she suggested, suddenly off again, ambushing a herd of deer, draining about 5 of them, starting to feel kind of bloated, no burn in her throat anymore, not feeling the need to hunt.
I'm done" she told Edward, smiling at her husband "Are you ready to go?" she asked, egar to get back, wanting to see her baby, wanting to meet her little Renesmee. "Please Edward, I want to go and see Renesmee"

Edwar was really surprised about Bella's selfcontrol, how was it possible that a newborn could resist the smell and the taste of the blood of a human?! the only one who had been able to do that has been Faith! but Bella hasn't attacked him either! so what was going on?!

"Then you will take her off me if I look like I'm about to make her into a meal" Bella told Edward, moving towards him, resting her hands on his chest "Please Edward, please trust me, I really, really want to see our baby" she told him, leaning up and kissing him.
"Please, I've fed now, and you'll be with me, so please, let me see our daughter? Please?" Bella asked, moving her arms around Edward, resting her head on his chest as she hugged him "Please"

She would have guessed the temperature would be halfway between a vampire and human temperature, considering it was half human, half vampire. Bree had no idea why this was, but there was a much bigger problem. Nessie was growing fast... Too fast. All the Cullens were worrying, including Bree. She wondered what would happen when the recently changed Bella caught the half-human scent.
Bella was a newborn, and Bree knew exactly how that felt. The never ending thirst for human blood was the only thing she thought about in the early days. Bella would be dangerous to her daughter, and possibly to the other vampires. Her vampire emotions would be so new and rusty that they might be hard to control, which was another thing that Bree could identify with. She hoped that Bella wouldn’t hurt anyone, especially the baby. It would kill her if it happened. In fact, it would kill every Cullen. Everyone had grown so attached to Nessie in such a small amount of time. Bree had spent a significant amount of time with the baby, intrigued by her growth, temperature and her scent. Fortunately she smelt enough like a vampire for it to be manageable, even though Bree’s eyes were darker than they should be. Perhaps that would help Bella?
Bree swallowed loudly when he heard the light steps of two vampires, Edward and Bella, running back to the house from the nearby forest. This would be the tricky bit. Bella would want to see her child, but the risk was too great, even if she’d just hunted. Bree knew how it felt to be a newborn, how easily things could change. Bella had seen it herself a few months ago when Bree had snapped and tried to kill her. Even though they were friends, it only took one millisecond for something to go wrong. Bree switched Renesmee into her other arm, nervous about what would happen when the newest newborn entered the Cullen house.

Edward knew it was dangerous! she could control with those hkers, but Nessie was other thing!! she would have her in arms, her sweet warm body in her arms! "ok... let's do this... we'll get there slowly, Bree is now with Nessie, so if I see you lose control, I'll yell Bree to take Nessie away ok?"
He said holding bella's hands in his, he knew it should be awfuly frustrating for bella to be away from nessie, but well... they had to protect the baby... right? |

Bella nodded, understanding why there were precautions, even though she didn't like it. She followed Edward in and stared in awe of her baby, amazed by how wonderful and beautiful she was. "She's perfect" she whispered to Edward, going over and gentally taking her baby off Bree.
She looked down at her baby in her arms, holding her safetly in one arm while her other hand cam around and brushed lightly against Nessie's cheek, barely even touching her.
"I... I can't beleive we made something so perfect" Bella whispered to Edward, smiling at her baby. "I love you Renesmee"

Staring into Bella’s new bright red eyes brought back the memories of her own early days in the newborn army. It had been a few months since then, but the memories were still fresh in her mind. One of the things she didn’t like about being a vampire was how she could replay memories as if they were high definition movies, no information or details were missed. Bree could remember everything, but Diego was the one who was always on her mind. After such a long time of him being gone, she shouldn’t still be hurting. But she could look past it; take her mind off it with her new family.
Bree looked back down at Renesmee, who was now sleeping quietly. She truly was an amazing little girl, even if she didn’t have her peculiar gift. Bree wondered how Bella would react to it. She handed the baby over to the newborn, extremely worried for Renesmee’s safety. She shouldn’t have let her hold her, but since Edward had given the okay, he wouldn’t want to deny Bella what she wanted. And Renesmee had wanted to see Bella for days, showing everyone what she wanted using her gift.
Bree stared at the mother and daughter in intense concentration, searching for the blood thirsty, crazy newborn expression that she could recognise on anyone. She had been one and seen them everywhere, after all. If Bella lost her concentration, Bree would take the baby and Edward would grab Bella and take her away to calm down. Or Edward would get Renesmee. Bree didn’t care much as long as no one got hurt.
Bree smiled at Bella and Renesmee, it was like one of those really corny Disney movie scenes. But in this case it was totally original and not annoying. This mother and daughter had an instant connection, and by the way Bella stared at her baby, Bree could tell how much she loved her. Who wouldn’t? Renesmee stirred, and her eyelids fluttered and slowly opened.

Bella smiled at the small child in her arms, now inspecting her perfect baby more thoughrouly, doubble checking for any signs of her being injured or distressed, but all she could notice was how big she was. She didn't look days old, she looked months old, and this worried Bella, worried her alot.
"What's wrong with her?" Bella asked, worry and concern for her baby thick in her voice "Why is Renesmee so old? she's only suppose to be a few days old, she looks months old" she pointed out, cradeling her protectivly, worried about her safety, about her health.

Edward sighed and shook his head, he wasn't really sure about that but he didnt want to worry her either. "We think it's normal, she grew really fast in your womb, so maybe she will do it too now, but... " he was afraid to tell her that maybe their baby would have a full life in a matter of twn years. |
