Nessie stood outside of the Cullen house. She pulled at her short denim skirt. Alice and her had a compromise, though it kind of didn't work out. She said she wanted to wear denim bottoms, which resulted in this short skirt. What a great first say. She held her book bag loosely in one arm. "Do we really need to go?" She asked Bella, her mother. "I mean, I know everything."

Bella sighed as Nessie complained about having to go to school, not happy with the length of her skirt. She picked up a pair of her jeans and threw them at Nessie "Change, youre not wearing that. and you have to go, we all have to graduate high school for real, i did" she pointed out, filling her bag and doubble checking that she had her keys.
"It's really not that bad" Bella promised her "Youll do some work, youll be great, and then you see us the rest of the time"

Nessie sighed and walked towards the stairs to change. She heard Alice scream from above. "You are NOT changing into those horrible jeans!" Nessie sighs, once again, and walks down. "You heard her." She said, climbing into the car. "Lets get this over with." She said, glaring out of the window. "I can tell I am going to hate it." She said, thinking about all of the horrible High School stories she heard on TV. She assumed her High School life wouldn't be any different. And by the way she heard High School for the Cullens were, they were outcasts and 'loners'. She rolled her eyes. She just wanted to be normal and have normal friends like all of the other kids.

"You're not wearing that skirt" Bella told her, taking her key out of the ignition "It's too short, go change" Bella told her before yelling up to Alice "You haven't even seen the jeans! you even bought them!" she reminded her, waiting for Nessie to change "We're not going until youre out of that skirt and into those jeans" she told her "The skirt is too short, it makes you look like a slut"

Nessie gets out of the car. "You did not just call me a slut." She said. "What if I like this skirt? What if I want to wear it?" She could hear Alice giggling upstairs. Nessie pulled it down a little bit. "Is that better? It was riding up a little bit." She looked down, seeing that the skirt came down to the middle of the thigh. She smirked. "I'll run to school if I need to." She said, glaring.

Bella sighed when Nessie went into one of her little teenage moments. "Nessie, I didn't call you a slut" Bella said "I said that SKIRT makes you LOOK LIKE a slut. Now go and change, you're not wearing that to school. go put a pair of jeans on" Bella told her.
She sighed when Nessie threatened to run to school. "Nessie, I'm your mother, im also stronger and faster then you, you will do what youre told to. now go and get changed into a pair of jeans."
