Seth is cheerful, friendly, and kind. It all comes down to being an optimist, really. No matter how bad things get, he's able to see the good in other people, in life, in just about anything. That's not to say he can't be hurt or sad or angry, though. He was sad when his father died, and he's been angry at his sister many times. He never holds grudges, though. He might get angry with someone, but he'll never hate them. Even vampires, (who his packmates seem to think he should hate by nature), as long as they don't hunt humans. He also always stands up for his belief in right or wrong.

| SPOUSE: none
| CHILDREN: none
| PETS:none
| HISTORY: Born in La Push, to Harry and Sue Clearwater, Seth was a pretty normal boy, all things considered. His entire life, minus a few tragedies, has been incredibly happy. He had some normal conflicts with his sister, Leah, of course, but there was no real sibling rivalry. Seth loves his sister, and always has.
Growing up, Seth was never one of those boys that hated living in La Push and dreamed of escaping to bigger things. He was perfectly happy with La Push, and while he did have dreams of big adventures as an astronaut when he was five or six or a soccer star as he got older, he'd still be just as perfectly happy staying in La Push being nothing more than perhaps a fisherman or a cop like his father's friend, Charlie.
His relationship with his sister has always been off and on. Their age difference was a big thing separating them. He was an annoying little brother to her and couldn't understand her, so despite how much he cared for her, they were never really close. Among those his own age group, however, he had no trouble making friends. Always positive and cheerful and friendly, he was just easy to like.
Soccer was a big part of his early life. He started playing at school when he was six, and by the time he was ten he was the best goalkeeper at his school. He was even invited to play with the older kids a number of times, able to jump and move quickly to stop goals that bigger, slower kids would have missed.
If there was one thing he loved more than soccer, though, it was listening to the Elders' stories, the history of the tribe, though like most his age he wasn't sure he believed it all. They were his fairy tales growing up. And of the other kids in La Push, there was one boy that loved listening to them as much as he did, Jacob, the son of his dad's friend Billy. From when they were both young, Jacob took Seth under his wing. Jacob became like his big brother, and Seth wanted little more than to spend time with him. Now, years later, there's nobody that Seth looks up to more than Jacob.
For a while, Seth didn't get to see Jacob very much, after he'd joined Sam Uley's gang. After Sam's bad relationship with his sister, he figured it was more Jacob not wanting to run into Leah, but it made Seth long to be picked to join. He didn't have a clue what it really meant.
Recently, things changed for Seth. Or, rather, Seth changed. Into a wolf, to be precise. It happened to both him and Leah at about the same time. The process was painful, at first, and in the time he was still adjusting to the changes, his father died, making it all really an unpleasant time.
Unlike his sister, though, he doesn't blame himself. And he knows she does, because of one of the perks of being a wolf, hearing the thoughts of his packmates. He also found out he was stronger, faster, and all in all more powerful. And, after finally adjusting, he loved every moment of it.
He proved to be a natural. With his optimistic and cheerful outlook on life, he didn't have a lot of the same control issues that some of the others did, and he loved being a wolf and being part of the pack with Jacob that he dove right into the new life. Only Jacob adjusted better and learned faster than he did. Seth was perfectly happy with that.

| ROLEPLAY EXAMPLE:
"Summer walked to her car. It was hot along the pavement and it burned through her shoes. She ran her hand through her hair, her fingers catching the tangles and knots from the water. It was days like these that she enjoyed her job as a lifeguard. She turned back and waved at her friends that were leaving too, smiling friendly. She pulled on the car door handle and pulled away quickly. It was burning hot. She put her fingers in her mouth to cool them, instantly healing the burn, at least to her. She reached down to the edge of her dress and grabbed the hem to pull the door open. The seats were hot as she sat down and she jerked up , readjusting her dress. She pulled the roof down and pulled up her purse off the floor. She fumbled for a minute in the bottom of her purse, getting more frusturated. She couldnt find her keys. "Where did i put them last? Did i leave them on my desk? or the counter in the lunch room?" Summer thought. She pushed open the car door and walked back to the building. She was just reaching the door as her foot caught something. She went to the groud, hitting her head hard on the cocrete. Her vision went blurry as her head throbbed. She watched as the world around her went black.
She drifted in and out of conciousness, only feeling the rough pebbles of the ground under her head and body. She could feel the cool night air against the bare skin that her dress didnt cover. She put her hand to her head and it came away warms and wet. She winced as she prodded the wet warmth in her hair. She pushed herself off the ground, feeling a little woozy. She tried to stand but her legs kept giving out. She started to drag herself to her car. If she could just get to the hospital in town a few miles away, she would be ok....
Summer reached the car, pulling the handle and crawling in. Her hands were slick with blood and it was hard to grip the steering wheel. Her head hurt, pulsing with pain. She needed a healer fast. She graoned as she remembered that she forgot her keys. She didnt think she could make it but she opened the car door and fell out. She looked under the car and saw a glimmer of silver under her car and she reached into the darkness. She felt the hard metal and grabbed at it, trying to get ahold of it. Her fingers slipped into a ring and she pulled her hand back. It was her car keys. She smiled faintly and pulled herself back into the car. She fumbled with the keys, having a hard time finding the right one. She finaly reached the right one and turned on the car.
She pulled out onto the highway leading into town, speeding and ripping up the road. Blood started to drip into her eyes and she wiped it away with pale and weak hands. She didnt have much time. She checked her cell phone and relized it was dead. How could she have been so stupid to not have charged it? She silently cursed at herelf. So much for calling for help. Summer thought helplessly. She looked down at her dash board and saw the engine light."Oh no. "She thought. Her gas light had come on and she was running on empty. She pushed on the gas, hoping to go fast enough or far enough before she ran out of gas. She had just gotten to the raod sign showing how far the city was when her car started to shudder to a stop. She wasnt close enough. She rested her bleeding head on the steering wheel, trying to stop the ever growing dizziness. She hadnt done it. She was going to die if no one showed up.
She crawled out of the car again and fell onto the middle of the road. She pushed herself up into a sitting position. In the distance, was a growing light. Was it death? or Help? She didnt now. She stared into the light as it came closer and closer. She knew it was death now. Her eyes grew blury as the light seemed to stop. She heard a bang, and then another. Then two more. Was it car doors? or the muffled sound
of gunshots. Her imagination ran wild as she thought off numerous possibilities. Surly it was time to go, but she still felt the pain in her head. A shadow stepped into the light. Summer hadnt known she had been staring straight into it. She shadow came closer until it stopped in front of her. She tried to make out the facial features to see if it was a person but she couldnt. She felt the warmth of fingers on her jaw and she didnt try to pull away. Something touched her tongue and the fingers closed her mouth. The pain dissapeared instantly. No Pain. Summer thought.they must be a docter. The shadow stepped out of the light again and she heard the shuffling of feet as the other figures grew closer. A cloth covered her mouth and she struggled. Hands grabbed at her and she sucked in a breath to scream but she couldnt. Her thoughts became fuzzy and her body sleepy and relaxed. She saw the world go black and the last glimpse of the shadows reaching for her. "The end." She thought dreamily as a world of nothingness enroached her...."
