| GENERAL APPEARANCE: Jane has been described as tiny (both height and weight) with lank, pale blonde hair that she keeps up most of the time so its impossible to tell exactly how long it is. As well as the beautiful strawberry blonde hair, she has the pale skin to match it. Her figure is rather slim & androgynous.

Her face is both angelic & fiercely childlike, & absolutely beautiful when animated.

Her eyes are wide, her lips are full, and her voice resembles that of a child.

She has an exquisite face that could make a Botticelli angel look like a gargoyle. Her eyes are red when she has fed, but turn darker & finally black if she is hungy.

| OVERALL PERSONALITY: Jane can be described in one word. Sadistic. She is easily angered when her power doesnt work, and has a deep & strong hatred for Bella after their first meeting. Jane worships Aro, always happy when he is in her pressence & will always love him in a way. Thats the only sweet, humanly feeling she has since she has been turned.

Jane enjoys her power, as well as the respect that comes with it. As well as the fear. Because of this, she never wastes the oppotunity to use them.

She has a strong love for her twin brother Alec, despite her cold, evil & sadistic personality.

| HISTORY: The Volturi had always had their eyes on Jane & her brother Alec as vampires when they were young humans, but waited until they were older to change them.

Being born when the salam witch trials were taking place, Jane & Alec were accused of witch craft & were getting ready to be burned at the stake. The pain was completely unbearable, but she didnt go through the pain for long as Aro stepped in, and killed the entire village. Because of being burned at the stake, Jane had been blessed with the power to voltunarily inflict a mental illusion of agonizing pain on others. (also known as a burning illusion).

Since then, Jane has become one of the most prized members of the Volturi guard. It isnt known whether Jane's name as a human was Jane, but it is highly likely.

All had been peaceful...until Edward almost exposed vampires.

Jane was sent to go and bring back Edward to their castle. Upon Jane's arrival, it had been obvious to everything that Jane is very dangerous despite her size. Edward did exactly what Jane said with out heistation. After returning with edward, Alice & Bella, Jane's brother was delighted that she brought back more people than she was asked for.

Aro tried to use his powers against Bella, but found that he couldn't. At that, he asked Jane to. She was ready to, and was about to start when Edward stood between Bella & Jane, taking Jane's sadistic torture. Once Jane finishes with Edward, she tries to inflict the pains he can cause onto Bella, but was infuriated when she failed, hence her hatred towards Bella.

Yet again, she was peaceful until sent out to deal with the newborn army that Victoria had created. She was shocked to find that the Cullens had dealt with the situation by themselves with out being injured or slaughtered (however, she kept her emotions hidden). Upon her arrival, she realized that there was one newborn left, Bree. She continued, until she was told to stop, and left her all alone.
