Alice sighed as she walked around the park. It was night, so nobody was around. However, considering how small Forks was, no one WAS ever there in the first place. She ran her fingers through her short, choppy & pixie like hair. The usual smile she had on her face had disappeared, now having the space filled with a frown that could break anyones heart. She was worried. Completely and utterly worried.

She knew that the Volturi was going to come and get Bella, and then Edward would follow...then Emmett, and then Jasper...She couldn't lose the love of her life. She needed him, to stop herself from going to the VOlturi to break her neck and take her out of the misery she woulod have if she no longer had her Jasper. She loved him,a nd she wanted to continue to tell him that for the rest of eternity.

She wasnt alive if he wasnt.

Still, that wasnt the only reason she was worried. The look on Bella's face when she had been told she wasnt going to be changed after they had gotten back from the honey moon. It almost killed her to see her sister so upset!

Hence, why she was out in the park where she knew no one would be. She just needed some time alone.

Jasper was worried about his Alice. He could feel how bad Ashe was feeling earlier and he hated to see her so sad and worried. He followed her scent from the house all the way to the park.She must want to be alone because no one is ever at the park. He found her walking around the park, the frown on her face made him worry more about her. She was worried about Bella and he was worried about her, this was going to turn into a chain reaction.

He walked over to her and held her hand as he caught up to her. He didn't really like controlling Alice's emotions but it was hurting him knowing how worried and sad she was about all that has happened. ABout Bella not being changed, the fact that the Volturi would be after them, he knew that she would be thinking about that, he knew that she would be worrying about what could happen to her family. He put a feeling of calmness over her, just to stop the worrying but he wasn't going to force her to be happy. "Everything will turn out fine," he told her.

Alice ran her fingers through her hair and bit her lip once more before she just shook her head to herself, trying to get rid of those thoughts that were driving her insane. She continued to just panic slightly. She knew that she needed some time alone,a nd she also knew that she usually was the one that kept the family calm. If she was panicing, then there was something seriously wrong! She didnt want to put Edward, Bella, Carlisle, Emmett, Rosalie & Esme through that...and lost but not least, her husband...Jasper. The one person who had her heart, and always would. She knew there was no one in her life like him, no one who she could ever love like that again. It was just him. Just her Jasper.

Alice believed she was alone, at least until her feelings started to subside so she was just sad, instead of angry & stressed...She looked over to Jasper as he walked over and took her hand.

She just looked into her eyes and shook her head. "Im not so sure Jasper..and it doesnt help that I havent seen anything...And I dont know why either" she admitted and bit her lip again.

Jasper could see all the emotion in Alice's eye as well as feel it which was just killing him. He loved his wife and it broke his heart seeing her like this. He didn't like her worry this much, especially when one reason was because she hadn't had a vision. "You shouldn't be worrying because of that..." he said and hugged her. He wanted to help but then he completely understood why Bella couldn't be changed. They were already teaching Bree to live their way and they could easily control her but then two new borns is a different question.

Bella did have a bit of a temper and he had a feeling she was going to be a violent new born and she would be hard to control. If she started a fight with Bree it would be dangerous for everyone and it would just be hard to control to blood-thirsty new born vampires. He was the expert in the family about new borns, you could see that from the scars that covered his body from the many fights he'd been in. I'll talkto Bella, maybe if I'm lucky I might be able to get her to understand. And if the Volturi come, we will be able to beat them, we're strong and we now have another person on our side."

Alice looked up at Jasper and bit her lip before she ran her fingers through her hair gently. She knew that Jasper was calming her down, and although she just wanted to feel what she needed to feel in this situation, she was glad that she finally had a break. That she could finally just be in his arms, falling even deeper in love with him.

she shook her however however at what he said. "Of course I should be worrying! We might have a strong family...but they have more people in their clan. And you know what would happen. Not only would they kill Bella, but Edward & I too...and then I know that would just kill you on the inside, like it would murder me the second you would die" she sighed and nodded her head again gently, as much as she didnt want to.

Alice didnt want to tell Jasper that she had promised to turn Bella if Carlisle or Edward didnt after the honeymoon. She hadnt thought that they would back out, she had only had the vision half an hour later after the promise. She looked up into Jasper's eyes and then shook her head. "I dont want Bella to be slaughtered by the Volturi...she's like a sister to me." she insisted and nodded her head.

Jasper wished that Alice would calm down and think of what they hadon their side and not the fact that they were a smaller coven than the Volturi. Things would work out, Bella would be changed in 6 months and they could stay away from the Volturi for that long, they could move around a couple of times, and when Bella is changed they could move back to Forks. He doubted Bella would agree to that but it was an idea. They would be able to come up with a plan that would work. "We are smart, you know that and we would be able to avoid the Volturi for a couple of months then Bella would be changed."

He looked into her eyes, the golden eyes that were so unique to him, so different to everyone elses in the family. The happiness that always showed in them was gone, replaced by stress and worry and anger, and he wished the happiness would come back. He took a step back and his hands slipped into hers. "I love you Alice, I'm not letting anything happen to you or anyone you care about, no one in our family is going to be hurt." He kissed her forehead and hoped that she would become a little more happier, he didn't force her to though.

Alice looked up at her husband then sighed before she shook her head. She just wasnt so sure anymore. If they were smart enough, then they would've found a way around Bree, and would have changed Bella again. Still, she just looked into Jasper's eyes and pulled herself closer to him, not wanting to be away from him, especially not now. She wanted to spend each second with him, no matter what could happen. She wanted to spend every moment with him for the rest of eternity. And she knew that it was possible as long as they both stayed alive.

Alice looked up at Jasper again before she took her hands out of his and then placed her arms around his neck gently. She just wanted to feel closer to him. As long as she was with him, she would be all right. "How can you be sure? I mean...if we were really smart, we'd find a way to change Bella with out all of the problems we're having." she insisted and then shook her head before she sighed again./

Jasper could feel Alice becoming more comforted as she moved closer to him. He was happy that he was helping her and making her feel better by being with her but she was still questioning what Jasper was saying, he could see that she was going to say somethign else and he knew it was going to be hard to convince her, she was so dependant on her visions but for once she needed to trust what her husband was saying and trust that everything was going to be alright. He wrapped his arms around her waist as she placed her arms lightly around his neck.

He frowned at what she said, she wasn't putting any trust into what he was saying. "Alice, we are being smart by not changing her. A non-smart coven would be the ones to change Bella and end up with both new borns fighting and pulling each others limbs off. We are being smart, we know not to change Bella and we are smart enough to avoid the Volturi for the short amount of time until we do change her." He smiled at her and ran his fingers through her short, dark hair.

Alice bit her lip as she listened to him and shook her head before she finally spoke again. "You know that I will always trust you, right? And that I believe everything youre saying, yeah?" she asked, then continued. "Its just that...Im so afraid. Afraid of losing my best friend. Other than you of course" she said and grinned. "I just, love her too much. She's exactly what I imagined my sister to be like. You know, the one I had when I was human...who knows has a daughter I cant see at all" she admitted, then sighed. "I just, dont want to lose another sister Jasper. I dont think Ive got enough in me to live through that anymore..." she said.

"I know that its not a good idea to change Bella, but its an even worse idea to leave her human! Trouble just seems to follow her and she just cant help herself!" she said, then sighed before she shook her head and sighed again. "Im sorry...I know that you obviously feel hurt that it looks like I dont believe you, and its not that." she insisted, looking into his eyes as if he could see through her eyes, and into the soul she was praying she still had. "And we say a short time now, but we both know it'll be longer, and she'll come to me. She'll come to me to be changed, and I dont think I could tell her no."
