Reflecting (Jasper/Open)

Bella sighed as she pulled up at the park in her new mini, still annoyed that Edward had bought it for her, loving her truck and missing getting to drive it. She sighed and got out, locking it behind her as she went and sat on the swing, not knowing what to do while Edward was out hunting, having nothing to do without him there, except for being upset that she wasn't going to be turned when she had been promised.

The one thing that kept her saine and stopped her from complaining that she wasn't being turned was Alice's promise, her promise that she would turn her after the honeymoon if Carlisle and Edward wouldn't, knowing that her sister wouldn't hurt her by going back on her promise.

Jasper knew Edward was out hunting and thought that this might be his chance to talk to Bella. He had told Alice that he would, that maybe he might be able to get Bella to understand why it wasn't safe for her to be changed. He knew the exact reason and he understood more than any other member of the family. He had seen what could happen between new borns and had proof of that. Anyone could see that proof, well, as long as they were a vampire the scars were easy to see.

He went looking for but he didn't try to find her by her scent. He had been around her enough that he could control himself but tryig to track her using her scent might make him loose control, make his brain think he was on a hunt. If he accidently hurt Bella or worse not only would Edward kill him but he would probably run away. He really didn't want to disapoint Caslisle and Alice and he wasn't even the knewest Cullen anymore, he'd been part of the family long enough that he was expected to have control.

He found her at the park, the same park he had been talking with Alice at a few days ago. She was sitting inside the new car Edward had bought her. He could feel that she wasn't happy but didn't change her emotions at all, he didn't want her to try and run away, he knew she hated him telling her how to feel, he'd learnt that last time. He came up and knocked on the passanger side window. "Hi Bella, can I talk to you?"

Bella jumped when someone knocked on her car window, starteling her, making her almost jump out of her skin. She relaxed when she saw that it was just jasper, though she was curious, cautious and suspicious when he asked her if he could talk to her. Nether the less, she leaned over the passanger seat and unlocked the door for Jasper so he could get in, going back to fiddeling with the GPS, trying to change it so that it wouldn't talk so loud, or so frequently, or so annoying and condeseningly.

"What are you after Jasper?" Bella asked, tapping on some options as they appeared on the touch screan of her DVD/CD/GPS, wondering what else it did that she was missing that Edward would probably later inform her of and then tell her that she was missing out, it probably had built in phone options that she didn't know existed and wouldn't work with her aincent cell phone, so she wasn't going to let Edward find out about them or her phone would be in the graveyard with her truck

Jasper couldn't help but smile a little when Bella jumped, she was a little too jumpy. When she unlocked the door he got in and closed the door. He didn't want some random person walking past and hearing their conversation. He looked over at what she was doing, playing around with the GPS, and it didn't look like she had any idea what she was doing. He learned to use things like that easily but he knew it was really hard for some people. He could feel her getting more annoyed and he wished he could make her happy but knew that would just make her annoyed at him.

"I wanted to see how you were, ask if you're feeling any better?" he smiled kindly, knowing that bringing up the subject of her not being changed straight away wouldn't be smart. He would wait until she was a little calmer and happier until he brought up that subject and maybe she wouldn't react too badly. He didn't want to make her sad or angry, he just wanted her to understand why they coudldn't change her right now.

"I miss Edward, he's gone hunting today, he's not going to be back untill tonight, so officially if Charlie askes, I don't see him at all today" Bella sighed, though she knew that she would be seeing Edward that night when he came and spent the night in her room, which of course her father knew nothing about.

Finally, giving up on the GPS, she sat back into the drivers seat, half glaring at the GPS, wanting to hit it but not wanting to look crazy infront of Jasper. "How's Alice?" Bella asked, having not seen Alice since the family meeting, though Alice had promised her that she would change her if Carlisle and Edward both went back on their word.
