Bella made her way into the Cullen living room, having recived a text message from Carlisle to tell her that there was a family meeting that she had to attend, not entirely sure why she had to attend because she wasn't part of the family yet. She bit her lip as she sat opisit Rosalie, saving a spot for Edward, nervouse about being around Rosalie, scared of her, knowing that if she wanted to, Rosalie could kill her in a second and Bella knew that she wanted too.
She looked around and smiled at Edward's family as they came in and started to gather for the family meeting, thinking that they must have all gotten the same message she had. "Anyone know what's going on?" Bella asked to no one in particular.

Rosalie half glared at Bella when she sat down opisit her, not liking Bella, especially as her strong, sickly sweet sent hit her nostrils. She held back though, knowing that there was going to be trouble if she did anything, though she wouldn't mind having Bella out of the picture, it seemed like all she did was get the family into trouble, the latest being having a new born in the family.
Her half glared turned into a full glare when she dared to open her mouth, asking what was going on. "Well, isn't it obvious? Since this is a family meeting and you're not part of the family and you're here, you must have done something stupid again that is effecting us all" Rosalie half snarled at her, not liking Bella being around. She thought she was so stupid, wanting to know why she wanted this damned life when she had a perfectly good one as a human.

When Carlisle walked in he saw that Bella and Rosalie were already there. He had wanted to be the last to arrive because he had to be the one to tell Bella what he and Edward were thinking. It was to dangerous for Bella to be turned after the wedding. To dangerous for there to be another newborn vampire when they didn't know how Bella was going to turn out. They couldn't have the two wanting, thirsting for blood, the family might be able to handle it but it wasnt lik ethat was set in stone. Plus, Bree and Bella might be friends today, but when they were both newborns? Fat chance of that continuing. Carlisle did think that maybe something would happen that was related to Bella's 'talent' of not having the mind powers work on her, but that might not be the case either. There were so many possibilities, and so many different outcomes that one couldn't be certain, therefore, they had to keep her human longer, to better see the future.
“Isabella, Rosalie” He smiled and nodded a hello to both girls before sitting across the room, waiting for the others to come, not wanting to say more

"Carlisle, why are we here?" Rosalie asked, annoyed that she was stuck here for the family meeting. "Emmett and I have plans today, what has Bella done this time?" she asked, throwing a dirty look at Bella, hoping that she might provoke a reaction from Bella, or maybe Edward if he was around where he could hear
"She's not part of the family and since she's at this family meeting it must be something to do with her" Rosalie concluded, sitting back in her seat, irritated, wanting to get to going and having sex with Emmett, instead of sitting around and hearing about how Bella wanted to be a vampire and prance around all pretty.

Edward was talking to emmett about the wedding, the wedding night and so, Emmett in fact was the one talking, Edward just shook his head and rolled his eyes. but then he heard Rosalie talking to Bella.
"Hey!..." he smiled at Bella and sat next to her, kissing her cheek gently.
"Rose... Bella is Part of this family in the moment I fell for her, so if you want to be mean to someone, pick me... not her" he glared at his sister. |

Carlisle stared at Rose “You know very well Rose that we all already consider her apart of the family” He tried not to get cross with her, He knew what happened to her well pieces of it and could see why she hated Bella. “and you will figure out why we are here when everyone gets here. That includes the whole family.” Carlisle wasn't going to say who it was about, even if it was about Bella. There didn't need to be tension when they were just sitting here. Edward walked in and said pretty much what Carlisle had just said about Bella being apart of the family. “Hello Edward. We are only missing your mother, your sister and brothers. “
Carlisle looked at Rosalie “And I mind you keep your tongue please Rose” He sighed and ran his hand through his hair

"Hey" Bella gently greated Edward when he came and sat next to her, pecking her cheek. "Don't get annoyed with Rosalie, you don't need to fight with her, shes right, it's not a big deal" she murmered to Edward, not wanting him to fight with Rosalie. "Let's just wait for everyone" she enouraged him, taking his hand in hers and smiling up at him softly, not wanting a fight to happen, knowing that deep down Edward loved Rosalie, even if she was sometimes.... hostile.
Bella sat there and tried to ignore Rosalie's gaze as they waited, trying not to be nervouse, knowing that emotions would be easier when Jasper got there, trying not to think about anything that Rosalie said, knowing that it was just because she didn't agree with her being changed.

Emmett smiled as he slide into the chair next to Rosalie. He gave her a big kiss on the lips before taking her hand in his. "Ok so whats up? You guys are inturupting Rosalie and Me time" He joked, his big burly laugh surrounding the room. He looked from Edward to Bella and then to Carlisle. "does this have anything to do with Edward and Bella's wedding? or whats going to happen afterwards" He waggled his eyebrows "Naughty naughty" He shook his head and then wrapped his arm around Rosalie.
"And dont pick on Rose, she just wants her opinion heard like everyone else in this house."

Rosalie smiled and kissed her husband back, happy to be making a point and a display infront of everyone, rubbing the back of emmett's hand with her thumb when he took her hand in his. "I want to remind everyone that Emmett and I have the house tonight and so you're all to get out, humans who think they are vampires included" Rosalie said, mainly to Bella when Emmett joked about everyone cutting into their time together.
She playfully hit Emmett, moving into his arm when he joked about after Edward and Bella's wedding "Stop talking about that, its nasty and I still don't like thinking about them doing it, it's wrong" she told Emmett before she smugly smiled at Edward when Emmett told him off for picking on her. "Yeah Edward, stop picking on poor defensless me"

The newest Cullen made her way out of her room and down the stairs to the Cullens' kitchen. Bree couldn't help but feel a little intimidated when she saw Edward, Carlisle, Bella, and the two she hadn't talked to since she'd arrived here, Emmett and Rosalie.
Bree didn't know much about those two, just that they were together and they were more... flamboyant and expressive about their relationship than any of the others. Emmett was freaking intimidating, he reminded Bree of Felix from the Volturi. She couldn't decide which one was strongest. Unlike Rosalie, Emmett actually liked Bella. Bree could tell that Rosalie didn't particularly like Bella by the way she looked at her, but Bella remained tight-lipped about everything. The girl needed to get some guts about her.
Bree sat down on the dining table. The table obviously wasn't for eating, it was just for display and the only time the Cullens used it was for family meetings like this. Bree had never been to a family meeting before, so it was fair to say that she was a little nervous. She sat beside Carlisle who she trusted the most, but made sure there was a seat on the other side of him for Esme. Esme and Carlisle were some of the nicest people Bree had ever met, so she would do all she could for them.
Bree didn't say anything, she just put her elbows on the table and started to twiddle her thumbs nervously. Why did Carlisle call a family meeting? It must be important.

Esme sighed before she ran her fingers through her hair. She had heard of the family meeting, and was as clueless as everybody else was about what Carlisle wanted to talk about. Even though he treated her kindly, he never told her anything before to say the least,However, she didnt expect much more. Still, it would've been nice to be told something every once in a while. She was his wife after all!
Finally she walked downstairs to see people already there. "Sorry Im late" she said, and smiled before she headed over to where her husband was sitting, and sat next to him, so badly wanting to sit on his lap instead. She missed being that close to him for so long.
She leaned forward and kissed his lips gently. "And Alice is coming down now...Although, Jasper is unable to make it" she said and sighed. "She said she'd tell him everything...even though she's already seen this talk" she admitted and smiled.

Alice knew that she was late. But then again, she was always late!
Most of the time on purpose.
She knew that Jasper couldn't make it for reasons he hadnt told her, not that she minded. He needed his privacy, just like she did hers. She looked up at the door as she heard Esme knock on it and ask her to come out of her room, and said that they were both late. Although Alice had a hard time figuring out how some one could be late for something that was happening in their own house...she didnt question her mother, loving her too much,
Alice finally unglued her fingers from the phone that she used to communicate to jasper only most of the time and smiled as she skipped down to the lounge room, where the family meeting would be held. She already knew what the conversation was, having seen it. "Sorry Im late" she said, bashing her eye lashes gently before she sat down next to Bree, having liked the girl, even if she was unsure about Bree. She knew that Jasper would like her now that he had somebody to relate too. And because of that, Alice would always be grateful.

Carlisle sat at the head of the now full table. There were 9 of them now. 8 vampires and a human, all apart of the wonderful family he had grown to love and appreciate for each individual thing they brought to the table. Alice for her visions , fashion sense and well bubbly personality to say it in kind terms. Edward for his mind and intellect, piano skills and protectiveness over Bella. Bella for being human and clumsy, helping them blend into society more, but she was still so much more than that, an untapped power source with endless possibilities. Rosalie with her beauty and her attitude. Emmett for his strength and power. Jasper for his insight on the vampire world, the newborns and how they were blood crazy, and how he could control a room full of emotions, Carlisle was kinda wishing he was here this time because after what he was going to say they may need it. Esme, well she was his wife, and that all that mattered to him because he loved her dearly, she was kinda and compassionate. And finally the newest member, Bree, well she was new but she sure could keep them on their toes and give them a run for their money. Carlisle smiled, looking at all the faces eager to hear what he had to tell them. They were staring and it was good he had their attention, not that he doubted he would.
“Family, I have brought you here to discuss something about after Bella and Edward's wedding, Something that is important to some, hated by others, and anticipated by another. Im talking aobut the changing of Bella from a human, to a vampire, from a mortal to an immortal. Now we all know Edwards side of it and Bella's side of it. Edward had agreed to change her after the wedding but in light of recent events” Here Carlisle paused, nodding his head to Bree “We need to post pone this action. Sure everything else will go just as planned, but, Im sorry I just cant risk having two newborn vampires in my household, let alone roaming around the streets of Forks. Now Bella, Bree, I love both of you but I am thinking about your safety as a whole, as well as the safety of this family.”
When Carlisle was done, he sat down, taking his wifes hand in his and waiting for the reaction he was going to get from his audience members. He thought he knew exactly what everyone else would say. But he could never be to sure.

Bella was socked when she heard the news from Carlisle. She expected Edward to try and get out to changing her, but she wasn't expecting Carlisle too. Her jaw dropped, she couldn't say anything for a whole few minutes. "Did you have anything to do with this?" Bella asked, turning to Edward and demanind to know, knowing that she wouldn't be suprised if he had something to do with it.
She was speechless, not knowing what to say. "You promised" was all she could say, not able to beleive it, time was running out. "I'm getting older and older every day, you promised after grauation Carlisle" she pointed out, then turning to Edward "You promised after we got married"

Edward listened to Carlisle, but he didn't really need to he had seen that decission in his mind for days, he sighed and then looked at Bella, he knew she would be madat him even when he didn't do anything!! He didn't bring that little brat into the house!! but then he sighed and knew that it wasn't her fault either.
He looked at bella and shook his head slowly. "No..." but he knew she was right only in one thing... He had promised it to her and he wasn't going to break it. "but... CArlisle... I have an idea... we have already been accepted in the University of Alaska, why don't Bella and I go there after the honey moon... Kate's Clan would help me with Bella, and we would come back in a year or two"
He wasn't going to break it even if that broke his heart by losing the human bella. |
