Rosalie was unimpressed by how this little family meeting was progressing. Basically they were getting no where, and that’s just how Rose wanted it. There was no need to change a human girl into a damned creature, she longed to be human again and what she would do to achieve that goal. Sitting down on a chair closet to her, Rosalie sighed at the sight of Bella leaving and the trail of people fallowing after her. It was always like this, Bella that, Bella this. Why did so many people care so much about a human? Her black dressed flowed over the edges pf the chair as she sat perfectly still like a statue of an angel, the angel of death.
Death was what’s going to happen to Bella if she was to be changed. Her life as a human would be over. Rosalies thoguths pulled her mind out of her body, and out of the meeting.

Alice was about to respond to Bella when she heard Edward's voice...however, she had caught his scent before hand. She knew that Edward wuld want to look after Bella himself, so she didnt want to 'push her luck', even though she most certainly did know what to say right about now. She ran her fingers through her shirt & choppy pixie hair before she walked back inside, then took her seat on Jasper's lap instead of on the seat next to her whre she had been before. She found Jasper's lap alot more comfortable, even if his skin was more firm than anything else. Including the seat she had been sitting on just before.

Bella took Edward's hand in hers, leading him to sit down with her at the table, sitting close to him but not on him as someone one else, aka alice.
"Alright, we're back" Bella said, wondering what else Carlisle had to add now - that she and Edward couldn't get married now? she didn't know. "What else is there to talk about?" Bella asked, still upset that she wasn't going to get changed after the honey moon by Edward, though she felt alot calmer and rational now that she had Alice's word that she would turn her if they wouldn't, though she wished that Edward would just do it himself.
"Isn't it too dangerous to keep me human?" Bella asked "I mean, the Volturi, as I'm always reminded - my magnetic attraction to danger, just the other day if bree hadn't been there I would have died just going to the book store! Isn't it too dangerous for me to stay human?"

Carlisle had to stay calm. All this confusion was actually making him upset. More like he was angry that Bella wasnt trying to be reasonable. He actually thought that she was one of the more sensible people in his family. But she was acting just like a teenager. He guessed he did have to remember that they hadnt had the centuries of seeing other people in action, of seeing those destroy themselves just for monetary things.
"look i never said we wouldnt change you. I just said it would have to wait a year . We need to make sure that other things wont happen if we change you, as an outcome. I really wish you would calm down, wish that you could take a moment and see through my eyes. We love you Bella and we just want to protect you. " even if that means protecting you from your own self, he added mentally. "and its not that its to dangerous, its that certain people were being reckless and sneaking off. " He looked from Bella to Bree. "can we come to a compromise?" He looked around the room again at all his family members. They would all support his decision and not fight back like Bella. What was with this girl today?

Bella bit her lip, not wanting to get older and older then Edward, already hating that she was almost 2 years older than him, though she was starting to see Carlisle's point. It was her fault that she and Bree had snuck off, though it had proved helpfull, if they hadn't, Bree wouldn't have been able to protect her from Fred and she would be dead right now.
"Can we please remeber that if Bree hadn't come with me to the bookstore, which I would have gone to with or without her, then I would be dead right now, if Bree hadn't protected me against that crazy vampire until Edward got there he would have killed me then and there" Bella pointed out.
She thought for a minute when Carlisle asked for comprimises, thinking up an idea. "Six months" Bella suggested "I'm already days off 2 years older then Edward" Bella said, defending her reason why she wanted to be changed soon "If I wait another year, I'm going to be another year older then him, I'll be 20 and he'll be 17 forever, I won't even be a teenager with him anymore"

Jasper was a little shocked by the fact that Bella wasn't going to be changed at all. He would have thought it would just be postponed until Bree was a little older, that made sense completely but not changing Bella at all didn't. She had been promised that she would be changed and it just didn't sound like Carlisle or Edward to go back on their promise. He had known that this meeting would be about Bella's change, but he really hadn't thought it would be to keep Bella human. He frowned and sighed quietly as Bella started to get angry without actually getting angry, she was really mad and Jasper couldn't control it easily, plus he didn't want her getting angry at him for controlling her emotions.
Just as he thought that Bella told him to stop telling her how to feel. He did stop, really not liking the idea of his future sister-in-law hating him, he didn't want any of his family to hate him. He watched as she walked out of the room and listened as she walked out of the house and got into her car. He knew that it was partly his fault for her walking out but he didn't want to follow her out. Alice followed her so he didn't have to anyway. Alice and Bella were best friends so they should hopefully be back inside any minute now. He waited for them to come back in but after a minute Carlisle asked him and Edward to go get the girls. Edward went out and Jasper waited, he didn't really want to get to involved in this whole situation, he would give his reasons for Bella not being changed right after the honeymoon but he had no reason to say that she shouldn't be changed at all.
He smiled as Alice walked back in the room, knowing that Edward and Bella would follow and they could stop the drama and get back on subject. He wanted to know if what Bella had said was true. He was a little surprised as his wife sat down on his lap but he didn't complain, he wrapped his arms around her waist and waited as Bella and Edward sat down and Bella started complaining again. He smiled as he heard Carlisle say what he had thought as happening. It was being postponed because of Bree and Jasper thought that was completely fair. He also thought what Bella said was fair to, 6 months should be long enough to get Bree settled in more and for her to gain more control. "I think 6 months would be long enough," he said.

Carlisle looked at Bella, and then looked at Jasper as he agreed with Bella. "I suppose that is fine. It should be enough time for everyone to adjust. After all, six months inhuman time is a long time, even if for a vampire it is gone in a flash. " Carlisle smiled, and looked around the room, He wanted to include everyone in the conversation, because in reality it really did include everyone of the family... But only a few seemed to be talking. "does everyone agree? We wait six months? Dont worry we are still planning the weddign for the same date" He looked over at alice. "but six months of training Bree, and then changing Bella, i think it sounds reasonable..." He sighed

Edward just stood there, he needed to focus on their minds, what were they really thinking about the situation... as always Rosalie wasn't really... fond of it, he understood why. Then Alice, well she would have turned Bella herself long time ago if it was her call. Jasper... well he knew Jasper would feel much more better, if Bella wasn't human anymore, then he wouldn't be fighting against his urge of drinking her blood.
"I think is the better to do, six months, then no matter what, I'll turn Bella." he looked down at her and kissed her temple with pain in that kiss knowing that with it he was sealing her destiny. |

"Do you promise?" Bella asked Edward, looking up at him, her eyes closing when he kissed her temple, his cold lips comforting against her head, reminding her that he loved her. "I love you Edward" she murmered, looking down at her watch, not suprised that she was getting sleeping seeing that it was past 10. "Edward, I have to get home soon or Charlie is going to kill you" she told him, her fingers twisting into handfuls of his shirt, holding herself close to him

Edward looked at her and smiled and nodded. "I promise... even if any other new born crosses our path, or a nuclear bomb falls upon us... i will" he kissed her forehead tenderly.
Then he smiled again and nodded. "well... he can try" he winked but then held her hand. "bella is right, she needs to be home early or her father will kill us both" he told his family. |

Carlisle looked at the two young lovers and took his own wife's hand. "alright. Sweet dreams Bella, and im sure we will see you soon enough" He gave a half laugh. Not that she wasnt always over here or that she wasnt taking Edward away from them. Even though Carlisle didnt mind it, it was a good thing that Edward finally had someone to love, that loved him back. Carlisle had started to get worried that he was the lone vampire in the house.
He looked at Esme, and smiled she was so beautiful, and he thought about the wedding present he was going to give the two, much better than having to wait their turn in the house. Sometime it sucked having to keep up the false pretense of a family, even though Carlisle wouldnt change his family for the world "Go on " he smiled "Before i get a call talking about my son's irrisponsibility"

"Thanks Carlisle" Bella thanked Carlisle, "Good night everyone" Bella said good bye to everyone, taking Edward's hand in hers, walking back with him to her little blue mini, still not impressed with Edward for buying it for her.
"You comming and staying the night?" Bella asked Edward, stopping and wrapping her arms around Edward's neck, leaning in and kissing him, just incase he wasn't able to stay the night with her, hating the odd ocasions when she didn't fall asleep and wake up in Edward's arms.

Edward nodded at Carlisle then walked with bella. "see you all later" he said then smiled at bella. He frowned and nodded. He almost could hear Emmett's laughs."well, I have been sleeping in your room for almost 2 years... why did you think I wasn't going to do it tonight?"
He got into the car just after he was sure Bella was in and safe, then he closed the passenger's door and then smiled at her. "ok... so you drive" he smiled even more, he loved to be with her knowing that he won over the wolf! |

Bella smiled when Edward assured her that he was going to stay the night, loving that he would risk Charlie killing him to stay by her side. "Just didn't know if you had to go hunting or something tonight" she told him, getting into her car, smiling when he told her she could drive, climbing over into the drivers seat, sticking her key into the ignition, starting to drive home.
"I can't beleive it's almost Saturday" Bella told Edward, taking his hand in hers as she drove, keeping her eyes on the road "I'm so nervous" she admitted, also knowing that she was disappointed, wishing that Edward was aloud to change her when they got home from the honeymoon, though she knew that Carlisle was going to make her wait another 6 months.
"I wish we didn't have to wait" Bella whispered, mostly to herself "I don't want to be two and a half years older than you"

Edward smiled at bella and shook his head. "no, I'll go tomorrow, then alice can stay here with you and have a girls' night"
He smiled and then nodded, he was nervous, but after Bella accepted to be his wife, his life got thousand times better, so he knew everything would be just fine and perfect!
